Energy Healing
Spiritual & Energy Healing is increasingly used in healthcare alongside conventional treatments.
It is a Group 2 Complementary Therapy as stated in the House of Lords published report of 2000.
Energy Healing AKA Spiritual Healing has a specific definition involving the channelling of healing energy through the hands to the client which aims to restore the balance of body, mind, and spirit of the receiver.
It is a natural, non-invasive, holistic approach that has the intention of promoting self-healing, to bring a sense of well-being and peace to the client.
When we become unwell physically, emotionally or mentally this has an unbalancing effect on our energy field.
A healer channels energy through his or her hands (either laying hands on the body or held off the body) which allows the energy field to rebalance. This in turn may ease symptoms physically, mentally and emotionally.
Healing can either be carried out in the presence of the client or by way of ‘remote healing’, otherwise commonly called ‘distant or absent healing’.
